This is really the definition of Upcycling 🎉🎉!! We customized a piece that wasn’t really being used much (the blue vanity) and took it apart to make it into a completely adorable set of end tables for Renee 🏠!!
It was a LOT of work to get that blue paint off but between the orbital sander, hand sanding and literally using a flat head screw driver to get it out of all the cracks and crevasses, we got it DONE!! Once it was prepped, we painted it in General Finishes Lamp Black Milk paint 🖤 added some distressing in the edges and sealed it in GF High Performance top coat.
The drawers were sanded down to 220 grit, stained in GF Antique Walnut gel stain and sealed in the GF Arm-R-Seal top coat. Renee picked out these super cool handles from House of Antique Hardware that really add something special to the look 😍!!
What do you think of this transformation?!? 🤷♀️
